  • Hi @redmaru, as I can see from the screenshot the error could be caused by the filename that have an embedded CR at the end of the name -> \r

Try to remove this file from your shared folder and start again AmiCloud and see if the error go away.

If you want to help to resolve this issue please follow this procedure:
    - Open the folder where AmiCloud is
    - Open AppData
    - Open the file debug_acm.txt and change [SBL]debug = 0 to [SBL]debug = 1, this will enable the debug output.
    - Do the same for the file debug_amicloud.txt
    - On both files ensure that the flag [SBL]console is set to 0, this will enable the file log instead of showing the log in the console window.

Now when you start AmiCloud it should generate two log files in the AmiCloud folder named:
    - debugacm_file.txt
    - debug_file.txt

Try to reproduce the error/crash and submit these files to info@a-mc.biz since it may contain sensible data.
  • Hi, can you please download beta05a... I assume it was a file privilege problem

  • I already have beta05a
  • How can i delete the remote file so i avoid the client crash?
I already removed this file from my shared folder ... but the error not go away.
  • The file uploaded on cloud is AmiCloud.icns
  • Hi @redmaru and thank you for the log, this is the one from the main AmiCloud application, if you have followed my instruction you should also have the log produced by the ACManager (the one that is crashing).

The log file should be named < debugacm_file.txt >.

Please contact me at info@a-mc.biz because the log have sensible data inside that should not be showed publicy like username & password both your personal data and client/manager connection details.
I've fixed your post removing this data.

In the meanwhile I've found this and this

With high probability this is the cause of the crash and will be correctly handled in the next version

Ehhh.... Is it possible that your AmiCloud executables are located inside the "shared" folder?
You should define another "shared folder" I've placed mine in Downloads for example.

Hi! My AmiCloud executable are located in Applications/Amicloud folder. The shared folder is /user/AmiCloud. I changed the shared folder but noting change.

I copyed the file AmiCloud.icns from AmiCloud/Content/Resouces/ in my shared folder, and now i receive this error.

I sended to info@a-mc.biz the logs! Thank you all!

  • Got it! Thank you
  • Hi,
i can try later but why can't you remove it? If you remove it and rund AmiCloud it should be removed as well on the Server. Is it possible that you didnt copy the file but instead just "moved" it from the ressource forlder, so it is missing there now? If you like you can send me a temporary Password for your account to ppapara@web.de and i can test it with your account from my machine.

You can Change your Password before sending it to me here:
